Planinski Kvintet plays primarily Oberkrainer style polkas & waltzes with the traditional instrumentation. This style of music was popularized by "Ansambel Bratov Avsenik" and is a favourite with many German, Austrian, and Slovenian music lovers. However, we are not strictly a polka band. Our repetoire also includes: Pop, Rock, Ballads, Latin & more. With several different vocalists and versatile musicians, we are able to offer a wide variety of musical styles suiting any taste.
